Name: Arcee 'Blue' Xhrathia
Age: Unknown (impossible to calculate due to being a time traveller)
Home World: Unknown (was built on Earth, just not yet)
Race: Unknown, calls herself a 'Watcher'
-Notes from a recently declassified Starfleet Intelligence file, however still only viewable by those of Captain Rank or higher-
Subject was discovered in a life pod, suspended in a form of hibernation.
Despite appearance and scans to the contrary, subject is artificial. Her brain is a mixture of highly advanced organic circuitry, similar to bio-neural circuitry aboard ships, combined with what appears to be a highly advanced positronic brain.
Subject is telepathic, however the ranges of these abilities are not known, as she only seems to use them to keep others out. Her mental defences are near impregnable.
Subject is biologically immortal, or at least appears to be. Is immune to every known disease, and possesses an indefinite lifespan. Subject, however, is not indestructible.
Subject possesses limited morphogenic capabilities, enough to change outward appearance, but not enough to change gender, height or internal structure, which is remarkably human.
Mechanical nature of brain allowed the subject to literally download, and store, nearly everything in our databank, from psychological reports to battle strategies. Attempts to remove this data have proved unsuccessful.
Subject has been cleared for public interaction by order of Starfleet Command to do as she sees fit, and has also allowed us to keep tabs on her progress.
Background.
Arcee is not what she appears to be. She is, in fact, a 35th Centuary Replicant, who’s objective in the timeline is to observe historical events. Hence, her self-proclaimed title of ‘Watcher’. To aid in this objective, she has been programmed and equipped to be able to slip seamlessly into the culture and timeframe she was sent too.
Her disguises are through a system related, but far superior to particle synthesis, which has the limitation of being affected purely from her ‘home base’, to prevent an accidental shut down. She is also programmed with every language, written and spoken, in Earth’s recorded history, and is equipped with a Neo Universal Translator for those un-encountered, which can pick up new languages within mere seconds.
Her ‘internal structure’ includes a near perfect humanoid circulatory and muscular system, including organs, and even hair growth and an aging progress, which is reset before each deployment. Her ‘brain’ is the most advanced in bio neural/organic circuitry and positronic technology, which is equipped with enough memory to contain everything in recorded human history, and space to record the events she is sent back to retrieve. To prevent other races gleaming information from Arcee, she is equipped with multiple layers of electronic and telepathic shielding.
To maximise the unit’s effectiveness, she has been rendered biologically immortal, immune to every known disease and plague, and resilient to physical damage, but not indestructible, as has been proven at least twice in its operational history. Once, observing ancient Klingons and another during the Vulcan civil war, or The Sundering.
The unit’s present deployment was supposed to be to emerge in 2210, witness the rise of a famous star ship captain, and participate in his 5 year cruise. However, two acts prevented this. First, her sympathetic handler, disillusioned with the project, seeing Arcee and her ‘brother’ unit as true sentient beings, and disabled Arcee’s temporal transponder, that would have allowed her to return to her century, thus trapping her in the century she was sent to. The second was an anomaly in the temporal conduit, which sent Arcee in to a hibernation-esque, standby state, and deposited her ship in the Earth year 2395, instead of the intended 2210.
Her ship drifted for 15 years, before being detected and recovered by a Federation Starfleet science vessel. She was not awakened upon the ship, but some discoveries by the crew of the ship lead to taking her supposedly lifeless body to the Department of Temporal Investigations, and Starfleet intelligence. She was reactivated, interrogated, questioned and examined for most of the year, never deviating from one answer, “I am Arcee Xhrathia. I’m a Watcher.”
Realizing nothing would be gleamed from the enigmatic creature, she was released to the general public, trapped in the 25th century. She decided for herself she would fulfil her directive. Observe history, making sure the timeline was left intact, and waiting the long millennium before she could return home, and feeling the eyes of three shadowy observers upon her.
