When compiling the guides for the Federation and KDF fleet holdings, it was brought to my attention that though the Starfleet holdings are named, the KDF holdings are not. I'd like to start brainstorming as to what we might name these holdings, since it would stand to reason they would have some form of name or designation.
Keep in mind, you can suggest names in English, and we can worry about the Klingon translations later. Of course, if you can provide the Klingon names as well, that would be convenient. But in any case, we need some good solid names. So join in on the brainstorming session, and let's hear those suggestions!

Previously when the KDF side of the fleet was called the House of Ka'rel, the starbase was called tengchaH Klah; "tenghchaH" meaning "space station" and "Kladh" being Ka'rel's deceased father. So there's that. Maybe we should also include suggestions about where these holdings are located (besides obviously the embassy and spire).

Well, been putting a little thought into klingon naming conventions, here are some ideas that I have, by all means use them if they are interesting to you all Starbase: Suvwl' Hoch (Translates to Warrior's Rest) Fleet Spire: Qin Kahless (Translates to Spear of Kahless) Dilithium Mine: tIq Sut HabmoHwI' (Translates to Heart of Iron) Embassy: tuq gharwI' (Translates to House of Diplomats) Those are just some ideas that I came up with off the top of my head. I know some of the names may be a bit clunky, especially the Dilithium Mine. Qapla!

I was gonna suggest we continued with the Ka'rel fleet base (wanted to ask Flynt first). (also I am unsure if i wanna continue with Wulff as Station Master of it. But thats for another topic.)

Re: tengchaH Kladh, I originally established that the starbase was located on the border--or as near to it as possible--of Klingon and Deferi space. ICly, it was established as both a base of operations for the KDF support of the Deferi, and as a private House asset.
When the Embassy appeared, those of us RPing KDF at the time more or less established that the Embassy was a Klingon High Command asset, but that Ka'rel was given temporary charge of staffing it. During that time, a Romulan terrorist group (which may or may not have been affiliated with Solius), bombed and destroyed the Embassy.
I'm not aware of any IC explanations for the mine or the spire.

Some new details on the whereabouts and selected specifications on tengchaH Kladh have been requested. | Station profile: diplomatic and colonial operations |
| including monitoring of Cardassian reconstruction and Gorn border | 2387 | Death of Kladh | 2396-2400 | Forward headquarters for KDF assault operations vs. Gorn | 2403-2407 | Headquarters for KDF Third Fleet | 2408-2410 | Station refit and expansion | 2411 | Ka'rel re-establishes house flag, renaming the station tengchaH Kladh | 2411- | Primary support station for KDF Third Fleet |
