So I was wondering if there were any rules/guidelines to allowing Foundry missions to be part of a character's or even the Fleet's canon?
I've been playing around a bit with those missions and there are quite a few stories out there that are pretty awesome and at least a couple I've come across that would be excellent episodic tales to include in a background or what have you. Even as I'm writing this though my Game Master's brain is giving me a number of reasons why allowing Foundry missions to be canonized could create problems, so I wanted to ask if there was any official stance on this and if there wasn't perhaps generate a discussion to create a policy.
I did a fuzzy search to see if this particular question has been answered and didn't find anything so I hope I'm not re-treading ground here, and I know I'm like *brand* new here so I hope my wanting to bring this up isn't stepping out of line.

I don't see why not, so long as their storylines are within reason. From personal experience, Foundry missions give that little creative niche where someone can make the setting or story the way they want, and it can either do quite well or quite poorly. It takes practice.
