Admiral's Log, Stardate: 90186.3
Admiral Quinn contacted me yesterday, and alerted me that I am now fully Commanding Officer of the 146th Fleet. I have already selected my Executive Officer, Admiral Cai'lyn. Given how things have been, regarding various...cloak and dagger scenarios, it makes the most sense to have him as the XO. It also gets him out of the rut he was in.
I will back his decisions to the hilt, so long as I am made aware of them.
I was also given the list of candidates that were considered aside from myself. I was surprised to find they were considering Edward Anson. No disrespect is meant towards Captain Anson, however, his behavior is far from Admiralty material.
I have heard some controversy and confusion as well on a decision Admiral Martin made before he transferred: a supposed movement of the Fleet Flag to the USS Indomitable. To make it clear, the Fleet's Flag is on the USS Avalon, and I'm going to make it abundantly clear that this is so.
Some might feel the 146th Fleet's chain of command could be in question...until I know where Admiral Shephard stands, it is as follows:
Myself as Commanding Officer Admiral Cai'lyn as Executive Officer Admiral Decker as Second Officer Captain John Sanders as Flagship Captain.
I am filing paperwork to have Sanders given the rank of Fleet Captain.
In the event that all four officers I have listed are incapacitated and no officers of Flag Rank are available, Command will then fall to Captain Tiana RasTalon of the USS Exodus.

Admiral's Log, Stardate: 90227.2
I received a protest from Doctor Janet Williams, formerly CMO of the USS Avalon, regarding Fleet Captain John Sanders. It seems Captain Sanders disregarded Quarantine Protocols on his recent mission outside of our galaxy. Having been reading the reports my initial ruling was that Captain Sanders had acted within his authority as Captain of the USS Avalon, and considering that no order was officially given, cannot find against him.
Further review of the issue only reinforces my opinion on the subject. It has been noted by an officer on the Avalon, who's name I will keep removed from this log unless questioned direct by those who choose to investigate, that Doctor Williams is an adrenaline junkie. I have asked that this suspicion be passed on to the Captain of the ship that Doctor Williams is transferring to.
I have to say that I am disappointed in Doctor Williams' lack of faith in the staff on the Avalon. I don't always have the time to deal with these things.

Personal Log,
Command has been poking me about a 3rd Admiral's pip...which would give me room to alter decisions made by my predecessors if required. Something to think about.

Where do I start? The Hirogen's still loose, the people that supposedly know where he is just broadcasted that they're canceling the bounty on T'Kor after negotiations with the KDF. Sindari's gone off the deep end with a Scimitar under her command...more wondering what the hell her crew is thinking there...
And the one half-way decent good news is that Commander Lara Hunter's mirror counterpart has been captured. You'd think the whole galaxy's gone mad.
It's like some entity is playing a twisted little game...

Admiral's Log, Stardate: Stardate 90615.9...
S'harien's threat to the galaxy is over, the man lies dead on some unknown world in the Gamma Quadrant. Following that, Starfleet Command had me execute General Order 24 on the planet, once all ground teams were recovered.
The problem is, by reports given, S'harien already sent something through the Gateway...we need to locate that something, whatever it may be. That means going through the wormhole, into the Gamma Quadrant...into Dominion Space.
Whatever it was, he seemed to think it could tear apart the Federation...so it's best we recover it.

Admiral's Log, Stardate 90819.0
In light of the actions of Captain John Sanders he is no longer Fleet Captain of the 146th, the position now to be filled by Captain Connor Gardener.
The actions of John Sanders are such that unacceptable is beyond understatement. A prison has far too many non-combatants for the actions taken by him to be acceptable in the least. I have begun to question the wisdom of placing him as Fleet Captain in the first place.

Admiral's Log
Recently I had the displeasure of being alerted to a potential security risk on the Avalon on the level I felt required a personal visit. Commander 17 of 25, a liberated borg drone retains the ability to assimilate for no logical reason. They also maintain the ability to resume contact with the collective almost at will, from my understanding, which could very well be used against us. This cannot stand. There is a whole mess brewing and the last thing Starfleet needs is a security risk of that level.
All rational thought points to there being no need for those abilities on a Starfleet ship. It is my personal opinion that anyone who approves those abilities for an Officer should submit themselves for psychiatric evaluation.
The fact she retained those abilities screams incompetence on behalf of those who liberated her.
I have warned her that if the issue is not corrected there is the potential for her dismissal from Starfleet. Though I would consider shipping her to Starfleet Intelligence...let them deal with her.
