Ive never been very good at explaining my idea so ill just bullet point it, Id love for suggestions and ideas! - Team Name: Not sure of name
- Based: Starbase 146/Exodus
- Team size: 3 is minimun
- Fire team Purpose: Much like any MACO team there purpose is spec ops missions as well as mission support
- On board the Exodus they will aid the captain and crew with secruity ops as well as more delicate missions

Full Update of the Maco Fireteam.
Team Name: Wolf Pack
Team size: Need 3. Best size 4, Any more would turn the fireteam into a Squad and I would expand the RP.
Base of Operations: Fleetbase 146, U.S.S Exodus
The main Purpose of the Wolf Pack is onboard the U.S.S Exodus, However if or when this rp picks up I will expand this rp to include things outside of the Exodus Timeslot to give the people interested more things to do with the idea as the Exodus will not always need the Team and it won't always be involved in the Saturday Timeslot.
Example Missions for the Team.
Away Team support and rescue onboard the Exodus: The Captain will usually pick certain officers for certain away missions based on there talents and skills, when things go wrong the Fireteam will be there to get in and get the team out.
Diplomatic Rescue: The name should say it all, The exodus is part of the FDC, it is rare but sometimes she might be sent to rescue an ambassoder or Liberate a Embassy, The team will be trained up for close quarter involvement as well as hostage rescue.
Assault: The team wouldn't be a maco team if it wasn't ready to get into the thick of things and deal with a threat quickly, this can involve ship boarding or planetery combat, During such missions the team may be required to Orbital insert(Think of Kirk and sulu on star trek 2009) board a hostile ship via EVA etc.
My plan is for the team to be rather active even outside of the exodus timeslots, I will be looking for some great foundy missions as well as having a try myself at creating some situations for the team to deal with, other then foundry the team will be invovled in regular training onship or starbase, The team will be constantly tested by myself to make sure they are the best they can be.
What the team will need:
The team already has a leader which of course is my Character Kaylea D'Ree
I believe that the team will need a support team member, this member will be a Medic as well as a heavy weapons operative, of course open to discussion but most modern day fireteams often have a heavy weapons guy and a Medic is a given for most combat and support situations.
The third member is still something i am thinking over, I think someone with advance tech skills would fit this nicely being able to breach a locked door quietly as well as shutting down certain enemy systems would be a great help, plus those covert Diplomatic missions that of course starfleet don't do would work better if someone hacked into a system to gain infomation.
All of this is open to discussion im happy to change and adapt things to make them work for people if they are interested in joining the team

Since mostly UK based people are attending these events I want ideas of ideal times to have the events so we can set up a weekly time slot

It sounds more like the Hazard Team Tuvok assembled in Star Trek Elite-force series.
As for modelling it after existing modern day Spec Ops Units , ask yourself if the concept you are thinking of is really confined by the resources available in Star Trek Current Era.
Nowadays Spec Ops units are exclusive mainly because we are limited on resources and the Spec OPs training and equipment costs alot of money, in Star Trek you don't really have that limitation, so the Hazard Team is more like Personnel that train for these scenarios more than others, all the class-based stuff is not how it really works though since Spec Ops and Starfleet Officers tend to train in everything and have at least 3-4 specialties. (Evidence : Think Spock for example, Science officer but he doesn't suck at a fight, same for Dax , Janeway used to be science before becoming captain and going tactical and so on... and then you also have Picard who is tactical but defiantly clued on the science stuff)
