So, I want to propose a new idea for an RP ship.
The U.S.S.
Independence is a fresh out of the dock Armatiage class carrier to be
assigned to the 146th fleet and will be working in service to the
Federation on all fronts.
The RP will not focus on the bridge
crew of the Independence (though minor characters who are department
heads are welcomed to join in), but one of the Squadrons in it's strike
wing, Eagle Squadron, and their missions. To do this effectively, the featured crew
will be mostly in Lower Decks style settings, not knowing about the
command decisions that affect the Independence. I would like to use
this to focus on the inner workings of the ship and the off time
(because we won't be flying around all the time). To do this, we'll
need the following roles:
Commander, Air Group (CAG, of rank of Captain or Colonel, CO): Vasco
Deputy CAG (DCAG, rank of Commander or Lt. Colonel, XO): Open
Fighter Pilots (Ideally, I'd like 5+ of any rank under Lt. Commander or
Major, who can fill several other functions in the wing.): Delco, Abriel, Kiso
Chief Maintence Officer: Ayche (might not be chief, but could be maintenance)
Chief Medical Officer: Open
Chief Operations Officer (Gives landing/take off orders and comms handling): Open
Other roles: (Let me know what you want to play)
In addition, anyone wishing to play a role in the Independence crew
(think a typcial star ship set up) is more than welcome to add their
role at any time. For the purposes of GMing, I will be doing it through
the Independence Captain, Andrew Decker.

you guys think of this, as it will be a different style to the current
RP ships we have and add some flavor to the RP choices.
