bop qa' nIHwI'pu'Teaser: The crew patrols Gorn Space aboard the I.K.S. bIp Ho' Synopsis: The transfered senior staff get situated aboard the I.K.S. bIp Ho'; a Hegh'ta class Bird of Prey, and are deployed to patrol the edges of Gorn space. They detect energy signatures in the Axelot System and on approach are able to discern a debris field in orbit of Axelot II. They drop from warp and cautiously approach the scene under cloak as they find a debris field made up in part by Gorn vessels. As they draw closer they can identify at least three Gorn ship and a bird of prey amongst the wreckage. The larger portion of the mass of debris made up of the remnants of a Borg Sphere and several probes. All seem to be inert or dead. As they scan they locate a single active Kivra shuttle with 4 lifesigns aboard; as well as Borg technology but no subspace signal that would denote the presence of the Collective. Scanning the planet reveals 30,000 lifesings of mixed species and no Borg signatures. The shuttle makes contact with the bIp Ho' using a haphazardly repaired communications system and reports that they are survivors from the destroyed bird of prey and that their Captain is injured. After some further scanning, deliberation, and discussion Commander T'onk agrees to bring the survivors aboard. They are escorted directly to sickbay by the Chief of Security and Doctor Whitlock treats and dismisses the crewmen before working on the injured Captain. Whom has 2nd degree burns over 70% of her body and 3rd degree burns over her entire arms as well as abrasions, and bruising. The Doctor begins surgery after a short discussion with the Commander and promises to call her as soon as the Captain recovers. Teaser: A complex situation. An easy solution. Synopsis: The crew is relived from guard duty over Axelot II by a small battlegroup led by Captain Ju'Hon of the I.K.S. DuQ. The bIp Ho' returns to its original patrol route and detects large radiation spikes in the Rogg system. Further scans reveal the source to be Rogg IV but due to interference they cannot pinpoint where in the area of the planet. The ship cloaks and enters space around Rogg IV to investigate. Once within visual range the source is seen in the planets atmosphere. A green splotch identified as Theta Radiation. The source is unclear due to sensor degradation caused by a hyper-dense magnetic pole near the location. The surrounding area reveals scattered debris. After discovering the planets gravity field is six times stronger than that of Qo'noS the ship backs to a safe distance. Jo'rog launches a probe which relays them large amounts of information as well as visual confirmation of a crashed Vandal destroyer on the planet leaking Theta radiation. The local wildlife is showing signs of cellular decay. Several options are discussed before the crew decides upon a simple solution. A tight spread of three quantum torpedoes to accomplish antimatter annihilation. Once the Vandal is nothing more than a crater the ship leaves a communications buoy to warn off traveling ships with aggressive messaging techniques. Teaser: The Borg situation worsens. Synopsis: The I.K.S. bIp Ho' continues its patrols of Gorn space on the border with the Federation system of Cestus. Meanwhile in sickbay Captain Seventy-Seven stirs from her Coma. Chief Kalissa takes note and moves to speak with the liberated woman, hailing T'onk and Doctor Whitlock. The Commander arrives and informs 77 of the situation since the battle over Axelot II and the successful defense they managed. The Doctor arrives after a moment and checks the patient to be sure she is healthy enough to move. 77 informs T'onk that she has suspicions that the Borg have taken a word or worlds on the Gorn Border and are using the new vantage to probe defenses before striking out into the Hegemony. If this is allowed to happen and Gorn worlds are lost it could weaken the Empire and pull forces away from other fronts. Once confirmation comes from the Doctor The Captain and T'onk move to the bridge so that 77 might contact High Command and Taskforce Omega to apprise them of the situation.
Meanwhile long range sensors detect five Borg Probes at warp, their trajectories leaving Cestus Sector space and heading into Gorn space. The group breaks up into three splinters and each goes a different direction. Two of the probes heading towards the bIp Ho' and furthermore Axelot. Commander T'onk orders a intercept course and combat stations.
One of the probes drops out of warp to engage the bIp Ho'. The ship is ambushed by the Bird of Prey in a withering volley of cannonfire and torpedoes. The two exchange blows while the Borg attempt to break through the firewalls on the bIp Ho's computers. The hack slows the nimble ships responses but they still easily outmaneuver the bulky Probe. When attempting to finish the battle swiftly with a close swoop and bombard maneuver the ship finds itself locked in a tractor beam and pummeled by plasma beams. The shields fail and Borg beam aboard on all decks.
T'onk orders Tactical to fire everything point blank, the Probe's hull cracking and breaking under the torrent of disruptor fire! Then the Bird of Prey lets loose a tight spread of torpedoes atop their foe as the Tractor Emitter is destroyed, sending them rolling away. The bIp Ho' stabilizes as the Probe breaks apart and explodes. Meanwhile below decks the Doctor and Chief Kalissa defend the ship from Boarding Borg. Several lesser crewman are felled by the plasma weapons but the Doctor manages to stop a Nausicaan crewman from being assimilated. The last fo the Brog are dealt with by the rescued Gorn brothers as they smash the enemies into one another forcefully breaking them apart.
The ground forces move to Engineering to be sure it is secure. They escort a coupel wounded back towards sickbay as the fighting dies off. On the bridge a duo of Tactical Drones marches towards the bridge and is only stopped by the combined combat skills of S'Rell, Ralius, Haro, and T'onk.
In the Aftermath of the battle 77 looks over a science panel with a grim face and declares that Cestus III has fallen to the Borg. Next Time on Hammerhead: Task Force Omega arrives! Crew Logs about Episode 24Commanding Officer T'onk's Log

Teaser: Taskforce Omega leads an assault on Borg Controlled Cestus III. Synopsis: The bIp Ho' is met at Axelot II by a assault fleet from Taskforce Omega led by a Sovereign Class and including 2 B'rels, a Steamrunner, a Mogai, a Saber, and a Vor'cha. The Fleet prepares to move on Cestus III after a short discussion on the goal. Upon arrival at Cestus III the fleet finds two Spheres, a Cube, and numerous probes all defending and constructing a massive transwarp gateway. The fleet breaks into three groups with the core of the fleet charging for the Cube while two splinter groups assault a sphere each. The right sphere is attacked by the B'rels and Steamrunner with Fighter support. The left is attacked by the bIp Ho' and the KDF defenders from Axelot II. The right sphere is destroyed with the loss of a B'rel and the left is as well with no losses. Once the spheres and accompanying probes are dealt with both groups converge towards the transwarp gate, destroying the Probes there with little issue. The main fleet engages the Cube and loses the Saber to a Plasma Torpedo. The ships harass the massive Cube in unison. Several of the ships take a beating in the engagement. As the battle rages the Mogai is caught in a tractor and boarded, despite the valiant efforts of its crew the ship was lost, it was destroyed in the later explosion. Towards the latter portion of the battle the bIp Ho' takes draws the Cube towards the partial gateway and works to set up a feedback cascade in its core. In the process the small Bird of Prey is flooded with Drone boarders and the Captain orders immediate abandonment of the ship. The Cascade is set in motion just before they fall back to the transporters. The Sovereign can manage a single transport safely before the Cube is within weapons range again. The bridge crew are beamed aboard the Federation vessel. Meanwhile T'kor battles back the Borg drones and gives a final command, "Execute T'kor endgame." the ship complies by jumping to Warp for .2 seconds and dropping back direcly into the Borg Cube at .99 Lightspeed. The impact at such speeds vaporizes the bIp Ho' and a third of the Cube instantly! The remnants of the fleet retreat in the wake of the core overload. After they leave more cubes drop from warp to secure Cestus but they are too late as; first the Cube explodes, then the transwarp gate detonates in a blinding explosion that scrambles sensors for a moment. When the sensors return nothing remains but scap metal. Mission Success. Next Time on Hammerhead: The I.K.S. Hammerhead rises again. Crew Logs about Episode 25

Season 2 Episode 6ghuSqa' Teaser: The new I.K.S. Hammerhead launches! Synopsis: The crew have all been transferred to chalqach toDuj in the past week since the loss of the I.K.S. bIp Ho' and Captain T'kor in the battle over Cestus III. Among them they find a number of new faces and officers. Haro and a few others pore over the technical specifics of the newly constructed Negh'Tev Class Battleship that was renamed the mupwI'nach under direct orders from Lord Ka'rel in honor of the ship his lost brother in arms served most of his life upon. A meeting is called by chalqach toDuj's on sight Brigadier. She conveys the importance of the service of those crew whom were aboard the bIp Ho' and the sacrifices they made to end the Borg advance. She awards all of those whom had participated in the name of the Chancellor with the Shield of Glory; a prestigious medal of the Defense Force that is awarded to those who serve to defend the borders of the Empire with unwavering devotion no matter the odds. Once those are awarded T'onk is approached by the Brigadier and offered her sash of office as Captain of the Hammerhead. The new HoD graciously accepts her promotion and appointment. After this the female Klingon steps to the side to allow the massive Gorn who had been flanking her to speak. The Gorn Ambassador approaches T'onk; her imposing size towering over the entire table of warriors, she bows to the new Captain and explains that the Gorn Hegemony has long had a deep sense of tradition, one that even now as members of the Klingon Empire they must honor and remember these traditions. One of which is the awarding of the Iron Egg Shell. A prestigious trophy given only to those select few who show themselves to be true heroes and allies of the Gorn people. The award is passed to the Captain with the statement that T'onk was now and would forever be known as a friend to the Gorn. Season 2 Episode 7wa'DIch 'IwTeaser: The I.K.S. mupwI'nach makes an incursion into the Azure Nebula. Synopsis: After picking up the remnants of the Hammerhead's new crew the vessel makes for the Azure Nebula to seek out Tholian targets for its blooding. Not far into the Nebula the sensors pick up a cluster of Tholian Sensor Buoys, placed in a pattern every 100 kellicams. The Hammerhead drops from warp under cloak to approach the sensor net and launches a single fighter to get the Tholian's attention. The fighter assaults a nearby buoy and attracts a small force of Tholian vessels. The Tholians give an ultimatum to which they receive no reply except the decloaking of the Hammerhead and weapons fire as they approach what appears to be a lone fighter. The battle with the trio of Widow Fighters and Orb Weaver is short lived as the smaller vessels wither before the Battleship's armaments. The mupwI'nach sustains minimal damage to all but the shields as the Tholian tetryon and thermionic weaponry takes its tole. The Fighter's are scrambled in preparation for the escalation of hostilities, but no more Tholian vessels approach. The Hammerhead moves off from the destroyed Orb Weaver as its core breaches. The escalation of the engagement finally comes but not in the manner they had expected as a tear in the fabric of space forms from the Tholian core breach and a ship breaks through. Sensors identify the ship as a Federation Typhoon Class Battleship but there is something wrong about it as no Starfleet IFF is matched. The Ambassador is dispatched to greet the visitors, rending a trench into the hull of the enemy ship. The battle begins; Federation phasers open up on the mupwI'nach with more ferocity than expected from Starfleet as the Typhoon breaks off to maneuver for a better vantage. T'onk orders the Fighters to act as anti-munitions screen but the majority of the unit breaks off and rushed to attack the enemy ship. Meanwhile the turns her port to the now oncoming Typhoon and readies a broadside. The Massive Broadside cannons open up one by one, sending out a wave after wave of Disruptor bolts, the turrets adding to the torrent as the Typhoon launches a spread of quantum torpedoes and opens fire with its own cannons as well. A good portion of the Torpedoes are destroyed but a few do hit home, one destroying a deck gun and killing several crew. The Hammerhead manuevers to face the enemy as they continue to come head-on, powering up the Ambassador once more. The oncoming Typhoon closes and grapples the Hammerhead with a trio of Tractor beams, pushing her back as they continue to hail cannon fore on the shark's hull. Hammerhead polarizes the hull and opens up with photon torpedoes and finally once more the Ambassador, lancing through the deflector of the formidable Starfleet Battleship which loses power to its weapons and tractors and ceases to move. T'onk orders a Quantum torpedo to destroy its core. The torpedo hits its mark and the enemy ship is torn apart by internal detonations. The mupwI'nach sets back off into the sea of stars sufficiently blooded. Next Time On Hammerhead: Tune in and find out. Crew Logs about Episode 27 HoD T'onk's Log

Season 2 Episodes 9-12maQmIgh ghachtaHTeaser: The crew arrives in the Hop lojmIt system to investigate a discovery on the colony world of Hop qo'. Synopsis: The Hammerhead arrives in the Hop lojmIt system and makes way to the colony of Hop qo'. The colony is nestled upon the shore of an ocean, surrounded on all sides by mountains. You make contact with the leader of those of the colony, an elder Loresinger. He is wary of speaking over the comms and asks for a face to face meeting so he might explain. Once on the planet the group finds themselves in an archeological dig camp on a mountainside. The elder walks them into a tunnel on one of the mountains while he tells them of the origins of the colony and how they found these far too perfectly shaped tunnels all throughout the entire mountain range. What was more interesting is what they found within the tunnels. Ancient remnants of what must have been a subterranean colony. He shows the group a jey,naS that dated back to the 15th century of the Klingon Empire. Those who knew their Klingon History would note this was shortly after the hurq were repelled and the Empire adapted Star-drive technology. A colony this far from the Empire so early was unlikely but not impossible. There were surely early ships that left and never returned. Some suspected hurq were involved. As he finishes his story there is a minor tremor in the tunnels, somewhere else deep in the mountain a collapse occurs opening new areas and chambers. After a week of clearing rubble and digging the new areas are opened up and a team from Hammerhead goes to investigate. They are met by an eerie darkness and silent horrors. An unknown enemy strikes out at the teams as they delve, injuring several and killing a few as reinforcements arrive and they are forced to fall back. Preparations are made in the following weeks to reinforce positions, defend what tunnels are already secured, and prepare to delve once more into the darkness. Several creatures emerge from the deep tunnels to attack a seismic device of Haro's creation and are taken for study. The creatures are given the scientific name Tenebris occisus or what the Warrior's have begun calling GhachtaH (Lurkers). They are 2 meter long Anthropods of the Order Scorpiones. Six legs, two large pincers, and a massive meter long tail ending with a hooked stinger. The creatures have three maws and no discernible eyes. Their venom is a fast acting paralytic that causes involuntary spasms of muscle tissue, lowered blood flow, lowered metabolic rate, and lowered heart rate; putting the affected in a near death state. The most worrying bit of information is not shared with the general crew by the Captain... they contain traces of hurq DNA. After the preparations are made a trap is set up to draw the creatures out. A prisoner is sent in to harass the beasts and draw them to the firing line. The plan is a success and half a dozen of the large scorpions charge out at their lines, several men are killed in the battle but after the smoke clears the tunnels go silent a long moment before a deeper sound echoes from within and something large can be heard approaching. After a small eternity of tense waiting the new creature emerges. This one half again the size of the others with chestnut brown chitin and wicked looking barbs lining its limbs and pincers, only one maw rests upon its front, taking up the entire space. The creature screams a battle-cry and charges their lines. It takes several dozen hits before it reaches the line, cutting into the Warrior's ferociously before it is finally felled, knocking the Captain aside with its death throes. In the aftermath of its death Haro studies the corpse for possible uses and discovers a mortifying truth. Not only does this specimen contain traces of hurq DNA, but Klingon as well... Teaser: A Breen patrol is discovered but more is afoot. Synopsis: The Hammerhead's fighter patrols report in about detecting enemy craft near the edge of the system and dock. The ship makes way to the furthest plant of the system under cloak to investigate. There it finds a trio of Breen Plesh Brek raiders on a patrol route around a planet in Klingon space! The ship monitors the situation a moment longer as it creeps closer before a long range sensor picks up two vessels incoming at high warp. Moments later two heavily damaged Jem'hadar attack craft arrive and begin to make for the nearest moon. In response the Breen mask their signatures and move on an intercept course. The two forces engage in battle as the Jem'hadar declare they will die free! The Hammerhead moves in to engage the Breen first. Destroying one vessel in its initial strike before the nimble craft can maneuver. The other two are destroyed easily enough but the ship does sustain a few hits, losing two dorsal turrets and having some problems in the wings after a tractor maneuver by the Breen. The Jem'hadar attempt to flee whilst the crew of the Hammerhead make contact with them. The First on the Dominion craft warns they were being hunted and are likely not safe. It is this moment that a Breen Sar Theln carrier drops out of warp atop the Jem'hadar and opens up on them to disable their engines and weapons. The Breen demand the Hammerhead stay out of this apparent Breen Matter and begin to tow in the Jem'hadar. When Hammerhead scoffs at the demands the two large ships open fire upon one another. The Breen polarons wreak havoc upon the battleship's power systems as they trade withering barrages of fire. Both ships are damaged in the battle but the Hammerhead takes the brunt of a transphasic torpedo barrage and loses its starboard impulse engine. The treacherous Breen secure the other two ships in their bay and launch a viral carrier wave to knock out sensors long enough to escape. Much to the chagrin of the crew. Season 2 Episode 14
Teaser: The Hammerhead interrupts a weapons deal to discover an old enemy. Synopsis: The I.K.S. mupwI'nach en route to the Bajor System to assist in defense of the world from an impending attack detects a quad of vessels near the Badlands. They cloak and move to investigate and arrive to find a duo of Cardassian Galor Warships with no IFF, a Civilian Freighter known as the S.S. Fringe Benefits, and a D'ridthau class Warbird, the I.R.W. jhimn. As the cloaked Battleship approaches the Romulan vessels sends out a open signal that once the Hammerhead listens in is a somewhat familiar Romulan voice informing them he knows they are there and proceeding to attempt to coerce them into revealing themselves for a chat. The Captain and crew ignore the man whilst he goes on, scanning the ship for any signals that might give away their location. One is found on a very low frequency originating from sickbay. The Captain and Chief Engineer go to investigate, leaving Ralius in charge of the bridge. In sickbay it is found that the Chief of Security Kalissa was implanted with a bio-transmitter that has been embedded into her vertebrae. She is taken to be secured where the signal may be jammed in the Brig whilst the Captain return to the bridge. Haro is able to pinpoint a jamming frequency and remove the transmitter via transporters, the process is not without pain. Once the transmitter is removed T'onk begins to have the ship moved from its prior position. The Cardassian vessels have left with the cargo vessel which had been found to be carrying a lot of Kemocite. Leaving the jhimn and Hammerhead alone. The Warbird had begun to build singularity power which Ralius identified as a plasma shockwave build-up and began to work with Tactical for a targeting solution to disable the shockwave. When the Warbird was about to fire the Hammerhead dropped from cloak and unleashed its full frontal barrage onto a weak point in the Romulan EPS system, rupturing plasma containment and letting the raw plasma that had been meant for the shockwave flow free into the ship itself. The ship is torn through by detonations and the head is rent free of the body. With that the Hammerhead sets back to its original course and jumps to warp.
