A recording sent to both Vice Admiral Villaina Starsinger and Commander Kval'nu of JAG.
"Name and rank: Lt. Commander Thane Va'rek, ID Number 4-4-2-OMEGA-1-8-Alpha.
This recording is being made as per request by the Admiralty in relation to the incident of Starfort 641 and the rescue of Doctor Adrianna Whitlock.
The operation started horrifically, we transported into the station and were met immediately with a security force field and were disarmed by the security force that met us there. We formed a line outside under guard whilst Captain Sanders under a blown disguise of his Mirror Universe counterpart still put the act up. As we all were disguised, sadly the disguises didn't pan out for the way we were getting in.
As Sanders blustered on, threatening to kill the Commander a.. Captain Gardner I believe. We were schedualed to be put into devices called Agony Booths and were escorted off. We found our way to the medical facility where we met the real Whitlock and a rather tall Klingon woman. Plans were formulated and it was given that myself and Omerta were to go to the Armoury on the engineering deck whilst Seventeen of Twentyfive neutralized the turrets guarding it. For she had infiltrated the starbase' security system as they had not encountered the Borg, as such they were defenceless against them.
We were to acquire Dimensional transporters and weapons. Upon return we made our move unhindered back to the transporter room, unaware of the initial plan until we were about to leave. We heard it from the Commander of the base about Sanders killing so many people, I caught a look of the console and saw what was going down as we fled into the transporter room and were beamed out.
We were transported into the Starbase 146 through the Dimensional devices and I blew my top at Captain Sanders and the XO. I confronted them about what they did. Both seemed to agree that it was a good idea to destroy the base and Captain Sanders believed that it was justifiable through the reason of 'We're at war'. War does not allow for several thousand Non-combatants on a Prison based space station. That is a war crime.
This is my report I am sure that security sensor logs in the Transporter room when we beamed in, caught the entirety of the yelling match. No doubt Sanders will probably try and have me for insubordination to both of them.
