Korzan settled down by his computer, they'd just dropped Seventeen of Twenty-Five off at starbase 146. They'd set up an orbit of the station for the time being while his crew took a bit of R and R on it. He'd already ordered a two specialists to comb through Starfleet Security records on these so called illegal prisons. He just needed someone else to hit the Database of Admiral Blake. "Poseidon." He said. Appearing on his desk stood the ship's Synthetic Intelligence. It had taken its appearance from the various fuzzy crew members on-board and added a touch of the God's signature weapon to its appearance. A Trident. "Yo!" It said.
"I need you to begin a subtle hack into the private Database of one Admiral Andrew Blake. Crack it open and search the files for any references to any illicit prisons set up by him."
"Isn't this technically against Starfleet regulations?" Poseidon asked, its facial expression mimicking that of concern.
"Yes, yes it is. If we're caught we could be in serious trouble as it is technically a Starfleet Internal Affairs or a job for the Internal Security wing of the S.S. However due to Blake having been apart of it or still being apart of it we can't go that route. Hence why I asked for it to be..subtle." Korzan responded, taking a drink from his glass.
"Why? May I ask."
"One man is currently being held in the Prisons of the Tal Shiar, another has just had his head shoved on the chopping block for defending Deep Space Nine from one insane General Tomalar. From my understanding the Romulans are threatening to reveal this entire thing to the public and cause some serious trouble for us." Korzan replied, perusing a datapad.
"Meets justifiable criteria in this case. I will get right on it." Poseidon replied, a small grin forming on the holograms face.
"While you're at it, dig up all the files on that event from Deep Space Nine. Reports, sensor logs and the like. Even things that may have been buried or.. accidentally removed or altered. Lets see what the JAG officers have missed. Maybe the Chief of Operations at the time..oh what was his name...D'lurahn.. D'Llhran? However the hell Romulan names are pronounced." He added, a smile spreading on his face as he flicked through his music player to play some of his favoured Bond Songs.
"Yes sir! I'll send what Data I find to the analysts for secondary cross references." With that the hologram poofed from existance. Korzan put his feet up on his ready room desk and reclined back on his chair precariously. "You know Admiral, reclining like that is dangerous." Came a gravely voice from the door. Which was met with an "Ack!" And Korzan promptly stacking his recline.

Korzan sprawled out on the floor of his office, staring at the ceiling in a sort of Semi Trance like state in the form of a power-nap. It'd been a day or two since his requests had been filed with the appropriate people onboard. He was listening to some rather fantastic Klingon Opera at the time. Until that is a familiar voice rang out from on high. "Oh Korrrrzan!" Came the voice of Poseidon, the Ships AI. "Whaaaaaat." Was the response he gained.
"I have the files you requested!" Poseidon in his typical Holoform appeared above Korzan like he was flying and projected a holographic display for the floor'd Caitian to read. "Seems Mister Blake has been a bad boy. I have him connected to many people some of which show up on our list as potential S31 suspects!" Poseidon drew up a few more files making various connections with names and positions. "Its pretty deep to. I smell conspiracy."
"You can't smell anything." Korzan commented, frowning a bit and standing up. He cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders "Alright.. " The male stared at the files closer. "Lets see.. I see two big name councillors on the Federation Council connected... a small timer.. a few officers scattered through Starfleet.. Christ this is deep." He frowned and took control of one of the screens, resized it and flicked through more files. "Personnel.. Logs.. Locations.."
Poseidon seemed to grin, his programming simulating a happy feeling from a job that was potentially well done. "So.. Conspiracy? Or shall we jump into action?"
Korzan flicked an ear, reaching for his Ale and took a drink straight from the bottle. "I say we transfer a copy of all this to a special set of Isolinear Datarods. Make sure they're encrypted and uneditable. Program security measures for Seventeen's and Sanders genetic signatures only. I wish not for this to be shoved into the hands of FNN by any accident and them cracking the encryption."
"On it. Also! I have the record of D'Llhran's order from Deep Space Nine. Shall I send it to Lieutenant Commander Hromar William's Lawyer?"
Korzan paused then grinned "Yes. Send it courtesy of Spectre Zero and the Ocean Lord." He took another drink of the ale and stashed the bottle back in his desk. "Sir, Datarods have been encoded and are ready to be delivered."
"Excellent, have them prepped for special delivery." With that he exited his ready room and onto the darkened bridge of the U.S.S. Poseidon. "Shanji, Set course for the Avalon's current location, keep us off sensors for now."

Korzan walked through the interior of the Tulwar Class Dreadnought, tail flicking slowly from side to side as he examined the interior contents of it. His crew and Marines he'd borrowed from the 8492nd to flush out the some Three Thousand crew and secure it. All the while a Cheshire Cat grin was plastered across his face.
He had his VPADD with him, set on his wrist mounted control pad. "Today has been a good day so far. Despite the rage of Lord Kane or.. The Rancor of the 146. Admiral Hsalo took back the kidnapped child, we captured Chavek and I got my paws on a Tulwar Class dreadnought. As of now I have my techs on this thing and Poseidon itself the AI is burrowing into the main computer core as I record this. Unfortunately we lost Tomolar and Blake."
He'd walk through the corridors, rounding one as several Romulan crewmen were escorted in stun-binders. "We have the U.S.S. Alcatraz on its way from gods know where to pick up these crewmen, where they'll stay in the Prison Ship's cells until the Diplomatic Corps make contact with the Star Empire for an exchange. These men believe in what they do, some are indoctrinated. In the end they will be sent back to their families. The Corps of Engineers are currently banging on my proverbial door with wanting to get over here, I expect their Admiral to be on me demanding access. Not likely. Once we've got control and full access I'll think about letting a few on, but this ship.. I might have it requisitioned into the Spectre Initiative. Justification: Its a a massive strategic boon to a small start up. It also contains a rather large insight into Tal Shiar encryption sequences, indoctrination programs, Borg hybridization technology... its a all you can eat buffet."
He paused a moment and looked out the window he was standing next to "...I must admit I have the highest respect for those we hunted Today. Blake for doing what needed to be done with those prisons, his willingness to exchange one psycho for Hunter to keep such a secret a secret and in the end his willingness to do whatever it took to save the lives of others. Chavek for having such conviction, such skill and execution of his plans. A Brilliant, cunning mind whom I can imagine if we'd met in any other way would of been an excellent adversary or ally. As such I have ordered my crew to treat him with respect until the Alcatraz gets here, from there its on to 4028 where he will be held until whatever charges are brought forward. However the rumour for on high says he wont be holding him for long, lack of evidence to have him held captive."
"IA may be here soon, so we'll be bracing for Impact. Though I won't be touched probably if they do go poking around, SI has its own procedures and frankly, the Shades from there make IA seem like a day at the beach. Now I need to think of something to give Kiso for getting a plasma bolt to the face...." He ends his Log and continues on through the Tulwar, heading for its main Computer core.
Addendum to Korzan's Log later on, source code unknown.
<Korzan> J'rai does allot for me, more than what most other people have ever done save...One. I understand his position, his want to be more involved. I've been there.. in his position and I know to some degree how he feels in this.
<Poseidon> You're worried about him?
<Korzan> I always worry, but not in the negative sense. I worry that one day, I may not be here for him. I may get killed in the line of duty or get shoved in some dark hole for the things I do. I don't want him alone, but.. once again who will do what I do? Its a rock and a Hard place.
<Poseidon> Thought of making time with him?
<Korzan> Always do when we're in system. You know that more than anyone, considering you're the ships bloody AI. You know everything, ship logs, everyone's movements.
<Poseidon> This is true, but that doesn't stop me from asking.
<Korzan> You care about those of this ship?
<Poseidon> More than you know.

R-ADM's Log:
We found it! The vessel we classified as Event Horizon has now been spotted on its way to Prisoner Camp 4061, Ghost Cell Alpha is ready to move in when the prisoners are beamed on board via hacked transporter units taken from downed Voth Spec-Ops units. Estimated time is 12 to 18 hours, maybe more or less.
Event Horizon will be worth it however, a melding of Voth and Sphere technology in a marriage that'll make even the most advanced Romulan vessels panic like husbands with pregnant wives. Well, soon enough we will see. On top of this we have the prisoners to consider, it'll be much easier if they're on the ship as soon as the boarding takes place. This will be complicated but can be done, provided nothing goes wrong.

RA Korzan Cai'lyn's Log:
With the Undine incursion hitting the Solonae sphere and the 146 licking its wounds I've pulled in Task Force Midnight to help Cover various patrol routes throughout the AO of the fleet. My unit is thoroughly prepared for this, Eclipse has been running through the Badlands with support from a Sao Paulo Vigilante and the Defiant Razor's Edge. A converted Jem'Hadar Dreadnought that's been studied up, down and inside out almost by Starfleet fitted with several flights of Fighters and shuttles makes for an excellent patrol ship. Even better is the two Defiant variants can dock or attach themselves to it with ease. The Aries an Avenger Class with a few little tweaks has been running along Poseidon's old patrol routes without much issue. Contemplating having it support the California along patrol routes so that old Bucket doesn't get stretched so far that its Captain gets antsy.
Avalon has undergone modifications and I've heard that Sanders wants to check out fluidic space, personally I am against such an incursion into their territory. The technology needed to breach their space isn't something we just have laying around and hand out willy nilly to a Captain who suffers from Enterprise-Envy. Aside from that tactically its a stupid idea, the Avalon is to large to be of much long range use in that place without having every Undine ship in a half light year coming down on it like Nerds to Free Pizza at an Anime convention. Bad idea from the start I think. I'd reccomend a smaller vessel, whilst a stealth fitted ship would be best it'd be tough to be...stealthy in a fluidic environment. Cloaks are about as useful as a Klingon Opera singer on Bajor. Holographic disguise might work... fit the Avalon with one and see what strings I could pull through...friends to get the specs on the Rift generators. That's if I can get them.. though the Holo can be easily done from Poseidon's labs. May talk with Sanders about that when I see him.
J'rai has received bad news as well.. allot of people went missing on Luna when the tripods attacked, one of them is his Brother M'zura. Young fellow, Student at the academy with an amazing grasp in Subspace anomalies. Went missing during the attack on the shuttle run he was on at the time. I'm heading off with J'rai in a few for a visit to his parents, I know I have responsibilities here but a day with me reachable on Comms and if in an emergency the Yellowstone we took has an emergency Transwarp coil stuffed in it.
End Log.
Personal Log, Encryption Theta Seven Nine; Code Zero.
I'm itching to take on an Undine ship, I'd love to see them swallow a Hellfire torpedo and feel their psychic rages when they realize their shields are useless. Granted the Boom isn't big and these things are in a small supply.. I think it'd be funny. We've taken on Bio-molecular torpedoes from Starfleet with a few minute modifications to it to fit the targeting algorithms used in Poseidon's systems. I just worry these may not be enough. I've spoken to the two Liberated onboard and they both have come to a potential conclusion about utilizing nanoprobe torpedoes as well, similar to that used by Voyager and Seven of Nine. Course making the things will be a pain.
Gotta get my head off work.. this war the Undine wage is a shadow war that we've watched and played on the sidelines with for years. The Klingons saw it, the Federation in its stupidity decided to ignore it. Now they - and we are paying the price for the Federations ignorance. Whilst the Romulan Republic sits there playing both sides like an all you can eat buffet of supplies and technology. When they are strong enough to stand on their own and not need either side, then they will simply shut their doors. Be it slowly and quietly or a loud slam. It will happen.
Spectre units are being mobilized, we're small, to small for something on such a large scale but we're moving. Targeting known Undine infiltrators and quietly removing them or exposing them as needed, if we find any. So far.. three have been found. Least in higher ranking positions. For now we watch and act as needed.
In lighter news my Sahlet Cat has had his Second Birthday, he ate a massive chunk of meat. Unreplicated. Spoiled Bastard. Love him though, keeps me company and helps me unwind. Especially on the Holodeck. With J'rai coming aboard now as my replacement Chief Engineer I'm not sure how Feras will take it, might get jealous or have attachment issues. Hah, that'd be funny. This will be an amazing thing I think.
End Personal Log.
Personal Log Addendum:
Part of me is... afraid.. actually.. the last time I served with someone I was close with I... I held them when they died. A choice between the life of one and the lives.. of many. Some people think that I don't feel fear, truthfully I wasn't built to not fear. Fear is a way of survival, without it we'd not survive. But this.. this is something a part of me doesn't wish to experience once more. Holding a loved one once whilst telling them you're doing your best and that.. help will arrive. They.. smile knowing full well that you have had to choose.. but know that you're doing your best to comfort and make things as easy as possible.. Its.. nobody can tell you that they understand that feeling.. that.. slow.. break.. of your heart as you know that the time you have with them is.. limited.. yet you have to lead others and not be there for that person to help comfort them. I don't think I can handle that again.. I spent two months in Psychiatric care on Earth followed by just over a year on Betazed with an old friend since the white coats couldn't do squat aside from meds and daily counselling sessions. To add.. I don't want J'rai in that same position. His heart is big and he is very strong but.. I. He lost friends when the Exodus got hit. It turned him into a Borg minus the implants until they got him on Emotional Disinhibitors.
End Log. Code Zero.
