"Captain's Log: Supplemental
"The science team has been delivered to Planet L-1010 and Mr. Wood's engineering team has finished assisting in establishing their base camp. The landing party led by First Officer T'Lor assisted Professor Selek in confirming the structures on the surface are ancient Vulcan in origin, possibly left behind by a group of Vulcans called the Sundered. Commander Schmidt's team is continuing the investigation as the Midway heads on to our next assignment.
"Note for the official record that A&A officer Phoebe McGann has requested a transfer to Commander Schmidt's team. Said request has been hereby approved. I hate losing good officers, but she felt she could do more good on L-1010 than here..."

"A Tellarite cargo vessel reported sighting a Romulan vessel in the vincinity of Sector 005. I've ordered the Midway to reverse course back to planet L-1010, site of Professor Selek's archaeological expedition, as a precautionary measure. Given that the find there could be of interest to the Romulans, better safe than sorry..."

"The Midway returned to L-1010 to find the archaeology site raided; Commander Schmidt mortally wounded and Professor Selek injured and passed out just after revealing the attackers were seeking an artifact recovered by Lieutenant McGann. We soon found her surrounded by hooded assailants. The landing party stunned them with our phasers, however doing so triggered an implant that caused death even though our weapons were clearly on a non-lethal setting. Upon removing their masks, we discovered the attackers were Vulcanoid but unfortunately we have no further idea of their identities or motives. Whatever vessel they traveled to L-1010 aboard has eluded our sensors.
"Professor Selek is currently in what Dr. Thalla referred to as a Vulcan healing trance in our sickbay and Lieutenant McGann is assisting Mr. Wood and Lieutenant Nagano in further recovery operations on the surface. I've notified Starfleet of our situation; if this was a Romulan attack as all the signs point to, then it's doubtful they'll admit to it. Once the clean-up operation is complete, we're to rendezvous with the VSS Vulcana Regar to transport Professor Selek and the artifacts recovered back to Vulcan. Lieutenant Phoebe McGann is hereby reinstated as the Midway's A&A officer."

"Upon boarding the Atlantis, we discovered the freighter's crew had been overcome by a parasitic life form; a fungus-like creature that latches onto the heads of its victims and that can still control its victims even after death. Based on the ship's records, a member of the crew surreptitiously purchased one during a stopover in the hopes of using it for medicinal purposes. It was secured in the Atlantis' cargo hold; when the ship was damaged during a risk slingshot maneuver around a star, the creature's container was broken and one by one the crew was infested until all were killed.
"Due to the hazardous nature of this life form, I felt I had no choice and ordered the Atlantis scuttled. Starfleet has ordered us to set course for the Risa system for much needed shore leave. We're scheduled to arrive in three days..."

"In orbit of the vacation world of Risa, starting our second day of shore leave. During our stay here so far, myself and a number of the Midway's crew have noted a number of...unusual occurrences. Individuals suddenly disappearing mid conversation, alien species that couldn't conceivably on Risa, sudden and unexplained communications blackouts with portions of the planet's surface. And as the Midway detected to confirm our suspicions, a large vessel of unknown origin appearing and disappearing over the ocean south of the main resort. Examinations conducted by Dr. Thalla of the shore party revealed trace amounts of the theoretical particle known as chronitons.
"This suggests a temporal event of some sort and as a precaution I've ordered all shore parties to return to the Midway as has Captain Ornstein of the cruiser Invidia. Efforts are underway to determine what exactly is going on with Risa...and when this other time period might be..."

"Captain's Log: Supplemental
"Based on analysis conducted by First Officer T'Lor and Chief Engineer Wood, we've determined that the other time period we're dealing with on Risa is the early 25th Century. Anomalies exist in that era exist as well and when they intersect with the ones in our time at the same location on the surface, both centuries briefly coexist in the same space until the anomalies move apart. The mysterious ship hovering over the ocean in the 25th Century is...or will be, according to quantum dating, from the 27th Century. Furthermore, it appears to be identical in design to vessels used by the until now thought to be the legendary time travelling species known as Vorgons, linked to legends throughout this part of the galaxy. We've determined that it's possible to board this supposed Vorgon ship during a period of overlap and we're making preparations to do so, however, there's another complication.
"A Klingon battle cruiser under the command of Captain Korroth has entered orbit of Risa, invoking shore leave rights under the terms of the Treaty of Organia. While there is no specific language in the treaty governing where in Federation or Klingon space a vessel can seek leave, I'm of the opinion that allowing a stop at Risa just opens the floodgates to deeper incursions into Federation space. However, lacking the grounds to expel them, I've grudgingly allowed small shore parties from the Klingon ship to beam down under heavy supervision. We're awaiting additional instructions from the Federation Council.
"Naturally, the presence of Klingons with these temporal anomalies on the surface has us all on edge. I've authorized members of the Midway's crew to beam down to monitor the Klingons and discretely take additional readings on the mysterious activity going on with Risa. If a solution to this situation can't be discovered on our end, I believe we have the proverbial ace in the hole; a means to communicate and coordinate with the Risa of the future..."

"We're preparing to board the Vorgon ship over Risa's 25th Century oceans using the shuttlecraft Collins. Hopefully if that vessel is the source of the time distortions plaguing both centuries, then the means to stop it can be found on board as the overlap effect is becoming longer and longer. On board the shuttle at her insistence is Captain Ornstein of the Invidia..."

"Captain's Log: Supplemental
"Risa, both in our time period and in the future, has been saved from temporal interference. The Vorgon ship was being used by a Klingon in the 25th Century, presently Captain Korroth's first officer, to pass along information to his past self to enable his family to one day rule the Empire. With the help of the T'Lor of the future, we successfully stopped him. The shuttlecraft Collins was destroyed and we were forced to leave the android duplicate of Chief Engineer Wood in the future to repair damage caused to him. I've already sent a request for a replacement shuttle at our next visit to a starbase. Captain Korroth has also placed his first officer under arrest under the charge of...eventual treason against the Klingon High Council. He expressed irritation over he having to thank me the same as his wife.
"Starfleet Command has ordered all records of this incident from both the Midway and the Invidia to be classified top secret...for the next one hundred and fifty years. I suppose we should all take some satisfaction that someone someday will know of what we did here today.

"While on shore leave, Chief Engineer Keiran Wood was taken into custody on a charge of murder; an apparent Risian bartender asked him to accompany him into the store room where she was killed by a phaser blast. Despite the local constable's certainty of his guilt, our investigation revealed there was more at play here. First, the Midway had monitored a communications signal bounced across various relays until ending in the vicinity of the bar. Second, the murder weapon according to scans had been rigged with a communications device ostensibly designed to fire the weapon remotely. Third, and perhaps most damning, the bartender wasn't Risian at all; scans confirm that she was in fact a Klingon. She was the one who started, without prompt, to mix the drink that required the ingredient from the store room. It was she who asked for assistance from Mr. Wood. And I can't help but think the presence of Captain Korroth's ship is a coincidence.
"Unfortunately, despite this evidence, Mr. Wood will be arraigned and Starfleet Command has authorized us to post bond. I believe with further investigation and the assistance of Captain Ornstein and the Invidia, we will get to the bottom of this..."

"Captain's Log: Supplemental
"Based on the autopsy report, Dr. Thalla discovered that the Klingon spy had been in fact poisoned prior to being shot by a phaser. The toxin in question is Veridium Six, extremely lethal to Klingons with no known cure. The communications departments of the Midway and the Invidia had tracked the source of the signal sent to trigger the phaser blast within caves beneath the volcano near the resort and I led a landing party with Commander T'Lor and Doctor Thalla to investigate.
"There, we discovered the transmitter along with containers of Veridium Six, enough to kill thousands of Klingons. Constable Jora of the Risian police force arrived with an additional container to transport up to a ship in orbit. The landing party intervened and she confessed to stockpiling the poison. The Klingon spy had been sent to investigate and Jora had her killed to cover her tracks. Before she could reveal just who she was working for, she tried to attack T'Lor and somehow a phaser on stun was enough to trigger a fatal cardiac arrest. Doctor Thalla is conducting an autopsy on the possibility that Jora also was disguised as a Risian.
"I've ordered the cargo ship intended to receive the Veridium Six to be monitored on the hunch that they might lead us to whoever is behind this conspiracy. If need be, I intend to get a little creative in order to get to bottom of this..."

"Captain's Log: Stardate 3931.1
"The Midway pursued the cargo ship Adas, the vessel that intended to transport the Veridium Six toxin from Risa, towards the Romulan/Klingon border. Intelligence reports indicate that the Adas matched the description of a relief vessel reported missing near Mestikos. It rendezvoused with a Sha'Kurian warship, a species that are enemies of the Klingon Empire and who'd have motive to deploy a chemical weapon against them. The Sha'Kurian vessel fired on the Midway and with the assistance of the Invidia was forced to withdraw but not before beaming over the crew of the Adas. Our scans indicate that the Adas was modified with Gorn technology; Captain Ornstein's crew has seized the Adas and are towing it back to Starbase 8.
"We're pursuing the Sha'Kurians to make sure they don't re-enter Federation territory. After that, hopefully we can get back to exploring the galaxy..."
